Cleveland Aquatic Team is a U.S. Masters Swimming team based in Cleveland, Ohio.
The team is a member of the United States Masters Swimming (USMS) and the Lake Erie Local Masters Swimming Committee, and also has an affiliation with International Gay & Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) .
CAQT was established in the summer of 2010. Since then, the swim team continues to grow. We invite swimmers of all levels and abilities.The team has practices at Cleveland State University. Visit the practices page for more info.
We are a non-profit organization. All our coaches, captains and members volunteer their time to the success of the swim team.

We are welcoming of all ability levels and emphasize the fun in competition. We are an independent team with IGLA and USMS affiliation with a goal of participating in any local, national or international event which shares our mission.

Coaches
Todd Urban- Head Coach
Todd started swimming at the age of 7 for the Lakewood SwimTeam and 49 years later he is still training at the same location! He was an age group swimmer for 16 years and attended Western Kentucky University on a full swimming scholarship. Upon graduation he coached age group swimming for 16 years and retired from coaching after developing numerous state high school champions and national level swimmers.
He then started swimming in the OHIO Master program for another 16 years. He started the Cleveland Aquatic Team at Cleveland State University in June of 2010 and remains one of the three CAQT coaches. He is a retired high school teacher and artist.

Phillipe has qualified for US Nationals and holds 16 pool and varsity records at Cleveland State University.
